The ministry of Westgate Free Will Baptist Church consists of many different facets. We have our Pastor, Reverend Kevin Smith. He and his wife, Tonya. They mean a lot to our church.

However it takes more than one person to maintain a ministry.

Rev. Jerry Armstrong is our assistant pastor who helps the pastor with the daily visisting of church members and he also heads up our discipleship program along with many other responsibilities. We are very thankful for Brother Jerry and his wife Sister Martha.

Our music ministry is instrumental in each and everyone of our worship services. Brother James Arcuri along with our choir members and instrumentalist come together to prepare our congregation for the preaching and teaching of God's word. Songs of praise and worship stir our hearts and aid in the the freedom of spirit and worship during our services.

Westgate's music team and media team work hand in hand. However, there is more to our media team than just a mixer and mikes. Brother Cannup along with the other members of our media team are crucial to many parts of our ministry. They are behind the cameras recording our services, making CDs and DVDs for shut-ins and other members of the community and much, much more!

When we have meals, we have our kitchen staff to thank. Brother and Sister Pettit work very hard in heading up our food ministry. We have many different functions throughout the year that involve food. Our kitchen team is always ready and willing to do whatever they can. We have Wednesday evening suppers, meals during Camp Meeting and Spring Jubilee. And For the past two years, we have served those less fortunate a meal for Thanksgiving.

This brings us to our Missions Ministry. Rev Jerry and Sister Martha "Mot" Armstrong, along with a very driven team manage our missions and outreach. They go door-knocking, manage our food pantry, visit nursing homes and much more!

Our Ladies Auxiliary is also a very important part of Westgate’s ministry. Sister Jackson and the ladies of our church come together for homecoming meals, socials and to provide food and comfort to the bereaved families in our congregation. Much of their work is silent, but we are thankful for everything they do!

If not for our maintenance team, we would not be able to operate. Brother Bobby Laws is deacon over building and grounds. He and the capable members of our church join forces in maintaining our house of worship. We are very fortunate to have such a beautiful facility and thankful for all of able-bodied, willing individuals that participate in its caretaking.

Our Church Clerk, Sister Gail Quinn, and our secretary, Tammi Fish are also very important to our ministry. The behind-the-scenes work they do is crucial to our church.

We as a Church are thankful for and very appreciative to the many members of our various teams. These individuals help hold our ministry as a whole together.
